The Warrior Group Introduced
The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and presented the first table of characters who will split off from the central cast to begin their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.
This warrior group includes Teor (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).
The Reason for Division
Given a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.
That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.
What Defines the Warrior Group
Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.
Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might seem mismatched, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.
Reasons to Leave
To begin with, the party knows exactly where to go next after a violent initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.
A former ally of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—used the foes for his own means, invading the hidden lair, striking the character, and taking all the enchanted items to sell off.
The antagonist then cleared his obligations and fled to a secure base in the remote area, above the city, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.
Personal Motivations
Secondly, each member has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:
- The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, seeks vengeance.
- The adventurer knows the region and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
- Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
- However, their position as prominent individuals in the powerful family could assist the team enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Moreover, Teor pledged a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.
Fugitives
Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city too risky:
- The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
- The warrior and Wicander defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.

This leaves them few options but to travel to Timmony in quest for the traitor.
